M/V SeaHunter
Disheartening news about the ship that is carrying tons and tons of food and humanitarian supplies for us, eighteen smaller orphanages and hungry families. Her arrival in southern Florida was delayed due to two major storms on the east coast and when she finally arrived there the Coast Guard cited her for not having all her paperwork in order and refuse to let her continue on her mission. Negotiations are underway (but she isn't!) so join me in praying that this can be worked out for the benefit of the thousands of poor waiting for help. This is a tremendous disappointment for the members of the crew of the M/V SeaHunter who have made huge sacrifices to help their unfortunate sisters and brothers in Haiti. It is disheartening for us as the ship carries not just food and supplies but the love of many, many caring people. A symbol of solidarity and hope is stuck in Miami. Agh!!

Another test of patience...
My heart breaks hearing this. We were so excited awaiting its arrival and now well, our prayers & support conitnue for you all in Haiti.

I had been praying for the ship to just get out of the snow storm's.
Hopefully this brave crew will be able to finish it's mission soon and bring the much needed supplies.

The United States Coast Guard is THE premier military service in the U.S.A. The brave men and women serving in the U.S.C.G. risk their lives every day to protect life and property at sea.
If this ship is being held up by the U.S.C.G., then there is a good reason. The owner and crew would be to blame for not adhering to the regulations that are in place to protect the crew, the ship and its cargo. DOn't blame the U.S.C.G. for any delays.
