This ten year old girl's arm was badly crushed during the earthquake and was finally seen by our docs yesterday who operated and put in several pins and such. She's been through a lot and is lucky to have her aunt to care for her. We gave her a stuffed animal and she said she would prefer a doll. Guess she'll recuperate just fine! By the way, her name is Rose Marthe.
This is one way of keeping up with what's happening in southern Haiti. Please consider helping us in our work with Haitian orphans and vulnerable children. Contributions can be sent to: Free The Kids, 2303 W. Market Street, Greensboro, NC 27403-1517. Or you can make a secure donation with a credit card at our website www.freethekids.org. Thank you for helping us fight poverty in Haiti, one child at a time.

I wish I could give her a doll but instead I will say a prayer for her full recovery and donate again to you so you can continue to help these poor people. Thank you for the updates and all you are doing Father Marc. Regards Joan (Australia)
She IS a doll, but wish she could feel more like smiling. All the children in Haiti remain in my prayers.
