Food Distribution Center

It's not the color we were expecting-- a bit too French's mustard --but the majority of the folks down here like it. The doors will be painted a forest green (well, we think it will be forest green). Check back in the next few days to see the done deal on the depot.

It is a little bright, but yellow is so popular in Haiti.
I also like the traditional style building. So many of the USAID and reconstruction buildings have steep roofs and wood beams. I guess that has always worked in Oregon or Iowa, but the Haitian style buildings and roofs look so much better! They fit in the environment. The roofs are probably better for keeping the building cool. Nice building!
